As America bleeds out in clumsily managed wars, China has copied its technology with inside help from the Democratic Party
Twenty-five centuries ago, Thucydides said that Athens fell to Sparta during the Peloponnesian war. The victorious installed the so-called “Thirty Tyrants” government, and Athens governed to favour Sparta. The Cold War between the USA and the USSR broke down the USSR in 1990, which was economically ruined. Only 30 years later, China is an alternative to the USA’s hegemony.
Around 1980, after being Secretary of State H. Kissinger became a “lobbyist” by strengthening the China-USA connection to encourage American businesspeople to do business in China. Abundant Chinese money “facilitated” the US Democratic Party to finance universities and intermediaries, and to extract technological sap from American firms and universities. When in power, the Democrats acted as “Thirty Tyrants” governments by favouring China.
China sent thousands of its best students to American universities who, having finished their education, returned to their country and were offered good job posts. China shifted from being a powerful producer of cheap products to a technological power. No innovation is free of imitation and copying well helps to innovate. Technology oligopolies from the USA work to favour China for being such an enormous market opened by the almighty Chinese Communist Party. Concentration in five American technology oligopolies (Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Netflix, Google; FAANG) has not only eliminated competition, the essence of healthy capitalism, but has also deteriorated the free market and democracy.
The Republicans were wrong to not legally divide FAANG when abusing their dominant position. The political hegemony is impossible without the military and economic hegemony. The first measure that a hegemonic government must take is that compulsory military staff must only work on defensive tasks that the population can understand. Since 1973, military service has not been compulsory in the USA.
The 2001 September 11 attacks caused a war against terrorism. Yet, is terrorism fought with conventional wars? because “a suicide warrior” breaks conventional military paradigms. Israel individualises vengeance against terrorists by sporadic actions, which should act as a guide. Bin Laden was eliminated in 2011 by special American command action taken by the SEAL elite.
Was the 20-year war in Afghanistan necessary? Victory does not happen through military superiority, but when the enemy stops fighting and resisting. The invaded enemy knows the land and is well-motivated to resist. Hegemonic power must dissuade the enemy from not daring to fight. Otherwise, the invader must foresee a final solution to the previous conflict when it can no longer withstand invasion.
After occupying land, it should already know what it will do with that land’s administration. The Vietnam War (1955-1975) began to stop Chinese communism. Thousands of dead American soldiers, forced to fight, and Vietnamese resistance made the USA withdraw. Allowing the Taliban in Afghanistan to commercialise the opium business was another mistake. Forty years of war in Vietnam and Afghanistan have weakened the USA, but China has grown stronger.
By eliminating Bin Laden, Obama should have “decently” withdrawn from Afghanistan and saved 10 years of war, lives and 300 million US dollars a day. The way it left Afghanistan evidences decadence in the USA. Russia has recovered Crimea and part of Ukraine with no opposition from NATO. How long will it take Russia to occupy a Baltic country with any pretext? The EU replaces the migratory policy by paying totalitarian governments to stop immigrants, with no military protection on its borders.

The EU can be dissolved due to Islamic terrorist attacks and Russian expansionism. European leaders are too young and overconfident, trivialise immigration, security to defend and EU’s military autonomy, and are distracted by gender/ecology ideologies and the climate change myth. The invention of CO2 emission rights seems a more lefty aspect than an intelligent one. The energy cost for citizens is too high, our firms are less competitive and states collect more taxes.
